Meet Jon Shaw
Captain Jon Shaw of the Margate Police Department (MPD) has recently stepped into the role of Acting Police Chief after the resignation of former Chief Dana Watson. Shaw, who has been with the MPD for 21 years, holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of South Florida and a Master’s degree from Florida Atlantic University, both in Criminal Justice. He is also a graduate of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia.
